Seva called Rich and me into the studio and effectively said, "Look, I absolutely love your band … if we don't make some decisions as to who is heard most and who goes into the background at any given moment, this album will be unlistenable. I've been doing this for decades. Do you trust me?" It was a critical question, and our answer: Yep! We did.

The band

True to the name, nothing stays one color for long.

Chameleous is a six-piece original rock band out of Knoxville, TN. Electric guitars, keys, lap and pedal steel, bass, and drums — all mixed with vocal harmonies and a frontman whose voice lands somewhere between David Bowie and Thom Yorke.

The songs draw on alternative, classic, roots, and psychedelic rock, and land as a collage that's very much our own.
